The Windsor High School boys’ golf team continues to shine in its Northern League tournaments by winning the Mead League match at Twin Peaks Golf Course in Longmont on Monday. They initially finished in second but Holy Family turned in two incorrect scorecards and those players were disqualified. Windsor’s 30-over par team score was paced by junior Brentyn Paiz’s second place showing of 73 (3-over). Senior Alex Tanner shot a 7-over 77 to tie for fifth out of 51 golfers while sophomore Carter Hinkle tied for seventh with a 9-over 79, classmate Landon Ball shot an 81 (11-over) to tie for 12th and fellow sophomore Burley Kleve rounded out the scoring with a 14-over 84 to tie for 17th.
