Attention All Athletes Planning to Play Baseball this Spring!

There will be a brief informational meeting this Wednesday, December 19 from 3:45 pm to 4:00 pm in the outside locker room next to the football field.  All players planning on playing baseball this spring need to attend!

Thursday: Fall Scrimmage (ALL TEAMS)
Fall Scrimmage will be held at Smoky Hill High School (16100 E Smoky Hill Rd, Aurora, CO 80015) Players report to locker room at 12:45; Buses leave WHS 1:15PM.  ALL Games begin at 4:30PM.  Scrimmages should conclude around 6:30pm.  Players/Coaches/Trainers will be provided a meal via Smoky Hill Boosters.
Coach will notify players of GAME uniform.
 
Thursday:  Adidas Apparel Order--Closes
Many players asked for the Adidas order to be re-opened so it is back by player POPULAR demand
 
FRIDAY: 
Varsity Films 10:00 AM  (if a player played in the Varsity scrimmage at Smoky Hill--plan on attending) 
C-Team/JV--OFF
 
Donations Needed:
*Bulk boxes of granola bars (please avoid peanuts for allergies) 
*Dryer sheets 
(send donations with your player to give to coach)
 
Raffle Tickets Due Friday, August 24th
Last BIG push to sell your tickets!!!  ALL tickets sold or unsold must be turned on or before Friday, August 24th.  Questions about the raffle can be directed to Kea Shields (970-214-4963) or Gina Waite (970-690-3705) or email windsorqbclub@gmail.com.

Our parents are a HUGE part of the football program and none of this could have been accomplished without ALL of your help!  Thank you again!

Announcements August 5-11

August Weight Room Schedule CHANGE--NO AM WEIGHTS:
 M/W: JV & Varsity will have weights before practice (4:30PM)  
T/TH: C-Team, will have weights before practice (4:30PM).  
 
MONDAY: Football Officially Begins
It's Football Season!  Make sure you have your school forms, physical & parental/athlete training rules forms turned into the high school!  This must be ALL complete to practice! 
FOOTBALL OFFICIALLY BEGINS MONDAY, AUGUST 6TH  We will not be in school yet but all football practices will be mandatory! NO practice can be missed before the first scrimmage on August 16th--CHSAA states you must complete 9 practices before the first scrimmage--for Windsor this is August 16th.  Every player must complete 9 practices before play in a game is permitted!
 
 
WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY(after practice):
Players will check out GAME jerseys/uniforms and any additional equipment for the season. 
Wednesday: Seniors/Juniors/Sophomores
Thursday: Freshmen 
**for non drivers pick up will be later**
 
HELP: Corn & Wine Meal Friday Night **Note the schedule change**

If you have already signed up please bring your food items FRIDAY by 6:45PM.  If the signup does NOT fill up, the players meal will be cancelled
 
Friday Night: Corn & Wine Scrimmage  ***Note the schedule change***
Corn & Wine has been moved to Friday Night.  Scrimmage will be 5:00-7:00PM.  Player/Coaches/Trainer meal to follow provided by parents.  Parent helmet night to follow.  Thank you for your flexibility in this schedule change.

Parents that have signed up to help with helmet cleaning/stickering, it will be on Friday, August 10th at 7:30PM in the locker room. (It will be HOT and SMELLY but definitely a good time!)  If you can, please bring a pair of SHARP scissors.  Contact Katie Westphal at 970-302-6539 or flyingws@comcast.net**This is a parent event--don't miss out**
 
Saturday Morning (Parents):
For parents that have signed up to help with official weigh-ins/height, you will need to be outside the locker room on Saturday, August 11th at 7:15 AM. **If you have a scale you don’t mind being stepped on with cleats, please bring it and text Katie Westphal that you will bring one.  Any questions contact Katie Westphal at 970-302-6539 or flyingws@comcast.net 
 
Saturday Morning Player info:

Thank you to everyone that helped with the Middle School camp and Jr. Wizards camp.  We had 141 Middle School campers and 98 Jr Wizard campers!  Many hands make light work!  Thank you again!

CONGRATULATIONS: 
Congratulations to our football players who have competed in multi-sport events this summer!  Our baseball players just won the championship for summer league, our wrestlers placed at National competitions and our own CrossFitter Logan Ewing just competed at the National Cross Fit competition!  Congratulations to all...your football family is proud of you!

Fall Sports Registration is Monday, July 30th thru Friday, August 3rd.  
Monday:  9:00 am - 3:00 pm ***Preferred Football Day
Tuesday:  9:00 am - 3:00 pm ***Preferred Football Day
Wednesday:  10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Thursday:  9:00 am - 3:00 pm
